What If My Luggage is Damaged or Lost With Bhutan Airlines?

If your suitcase is lost or damaged ( I hope it won’t be), you will need to report it immediately to Bhutan Airlines staff in the arrival hall.

A report will be filed and you’ll receive a copy with a reference number for follow-up.

If your baggage is delayed, Bhutan Airlines will do their best to locate and deliver it to you as soon as possible.

For lost baggage, claims are processed based on company policy, with compensation calculated at USD 20 per kg(approx. USD 9.1 per lb).

If you’re traveling internationally and your baggage is damaged, you must submit a written complaint to the airline within 3 working days of discovering the damage.

Once your baggage is found, Bhutan Airlines will notify you and deliver it to your specified address, subject to local customs clearance.

Alternatively, you may choose to collect it at the airport and claim transportation reimbursement.
