However, traveling with a steamer in checked luggage is a bit risky. You’ll have to make sure that it fits in your suitcase perfectly, and you’ll have to secure it as much as you can to avoid any possible damage during the transport.
If you have absolutely no choice but to bring a steamer in checked luggage , you can secure it with a piece of solid box and place it in the middle of your suitcase and wrap it with clothes, that will give it some extra protection.
If you are taking several steamers you also have to make sure that they won’t weigh more than the baggage allowance you have or you’ll find yourself having to pay extra.

We didn’t find any different rules when traveling with a steamer on an international flight, all you need is to make sure that your steamer is easily accessible in case the security agent wants to inspect it.

You can still be stopped by the airport security, this means you should check the airport rules also.
