What Is Air Caraibes Cabin Baggage?

All Air Caraibes Guests are allowed to carry onboard one cabin bag and one personal item, with a total weight of 12 kg.  including pockets, wheels, and handles.

Please note that the cabin baggage must fit the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.

The personal item can be:

  • a handbag (excluding totes) or briefcase
  • a laptop
  • a camera, binoculars or video camera
  • an coat or jacket
  • an umbrella or walking stick, a camera or a pair of binoculars or a small video camera
  • books, newspapers and magazines in reasonable quantities
  • baby food for the flight
  • a pair of crutches, an orthopedic device or prosthesis
  • a folding wheelchair or any medical apparatus
  • a guide dog transported either in the cabin (fitted with a muzzle) or in the hold

What Is Air Caraibes Excess Baggage?

Air Caraibes authorizes excess baggage under the conditions listed below on the transatlantic network (long haul flights):

If your bag exceeds Air Caraibes baggage allowance Excess baggage policies will apply:

If your baggage Exceeds Air Caraibes baggage allowance:

€100 charge per additional bag, checked in less than 48 hours before departure.

Excess baggage limit: 3 additional bags( depending on hold storage capacity ) allowed (1 included in baggage allowance + maximum 2 paid bags)

If your baggage Exceeds the weight allowance on the transatlantic network

€50 fee per bag each way when weighing over 23kg with a maximum weight of 32 kg per bag.

If your baggage are Oversize

€50 fee per bag each way when exceeding 158cm. Your lag is considered oversized baggage when the sum of its dimensions exceeds 158 cm (height + width + length). Oversized baggage must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
