What Is All Nippon Airways Baggage Allowance?

All Nippon Airways have several customer service awards including “Best Airline Staff in Asia”.

ANA Carry on Baggage Allowance

All ANA Guests are allowed to carry on board the aircraft One personal item and one standard carry on free of charge.

ANA carry on weight & size

Personal item:  must fit under the seat in front of you and it can be a briefcase, a purse or laptop bag.

Carry on bag: 22 x 16 x 10 inches (55 x 40 x 25 cm) (length + width + height) no more than 22 pounds (10 kg)

ANA Checked Baggage Allowance

Domestic flights 

ANA Puts no restrictions on the number of bags you are allowed to check in, however your bags combined weight must not exceed the following policy:

  • Economy passengers have a weight allowance of 44 pounds (20 kg)       dimensions: must not exceed 81.9 inches (208 cm). 
  • premium class passengers have a weight allowance of 88 pounds (40 kg). dimensions: must not exceed 81.9 inches (208 cm). 

International flights

 ANA international checked baggage allowance as follows:

  • Economy and Premium Economy:max weight of 50 pounds (23 kg) 
  • Business and First Class fares:70 pounds (32 kg) for Business and First Class fares, 
  • Economy / Premium Economy: first 2 bags included (50 pounds / 23 kg)
  • Business: first 2 bags included (70 pounds / 32 kg)
  • First Class: first 3 bags included (70 pounds / 32 kg)

Size:  all checked bags must adhere to max linear dimensions of 62 inches (158 cm).

ANA Restricted Items

FOr your safety and safety of all ANA Guests please make sure that you don’t include any of these items neither within your carry on baggage or checked bag:

  • Electric stand-on vehicles
  • Fireworks and Firecrackers
  • Gas Cartridges for Camping
  • Bleach
  • Insecticides and Pesticides
  • Sport Oxygen Canisters, etc.
