Aegean economy class cabin baggage allowance
if you are flying Aegean economy class you are entitled to carry on board and free of charge one piece of carry-on bag with the following details:
- Not exceed 56cm x 45cm x 25cm / 22 in x 17.7 in x 9.8 in including handles, side pockets and wheels
- Not exceed 8kg / 17.6 lbs in weight
- For flights operated with Olympic Air fleet (Bombardier-type DH8-100, DH8-400 and ATR), your bag must not exceed 55cm x 40cm x 23cm and 8kg
Flex & ComfortFlex Fare are allowed an additional personal item to the allowed carry on bag.
Ensure that the carry on is within the limited size and weight, the airlines stated that the carry on bag will be placed in the luggage sizer at the airport.
Aegean business class cabin baggage allowance
you are allowed to carry on board Aegean airlines and free of charge:
Two (2) carry-on bags that must:
- Not exceed 56cm x 45cm x 25cm and 45cm x 35cm x 20cm in dimension respectively (including handles, pockets and wheels)
- Not exceed 8kg and 5kg in weight respectively (instead of the 5kg bag, you may, alternatively, carry 1 garment bag 20cm deep when folded)
You may want to carry only one carry on bag instead of 2 (two) but it must be as described bellow:
- Not over 56cm x 45cm x 25cm in dimension (including handles, pockets and wheels)
- Not exceed 13kg in weight
- Fit in our sizer
- Fit and can be lifted by the passenger in the overhead bin
- Not include any dangerous goods, unless permitted for carriage
- Be big enough to fit any duty free or airport purchases

Aegean airlines infant baggage allowance
Infant cabin baggage
Infants travelling with Aegean airlines (0-2years old) are allowed to have 1 one piece of cabin baggage more than 6kg with the maximum dimensions of 55cm * 40cm * 23cm, that will be enough for carrying food and necessary items for the journey.
If the infant is to have his/her own seat, then an infant car seat (maximum dimensions of base 40cm x 40cm) or collapsible stroller or carrycot, is required.
This must be carried on to the aircraft by the parents and incurs no extra charge. It must be declared at the time of booking at the Aegean Call Centre or your Travel Agent.
Children cabin baggage
cabin baggage allowance for children with Aegean airlines is the same as for adults and corresponds to the class of travel booked(Economy or business class)
If the child needs a special car seat (maximum dimensions of base 40cm x 40cm) in order to travel in his/her own seat, there is no additional charge.
Infants checked baggage
GoLight:
Infants (0 – 2 years old) are allowed to a collapsible stroller.
Flex & Business:
Infants (0 – 2 years old) are allowed to have 1 piece of luggage (up to 23 kilos and 158 cm in Economy Class or up to 32 kilos and 158 cm in Business Class) in addition of collapsible stroller.

Children (2 – 12 years old) are allowed to have 1 piece of baggage up to 23 kilos and 158 cm (Economy Class) or 2 pieces of baggage up to 32 kilos and 158 cm each (Business Class).
GoLight & Flex & Business:
children more than 2 years are allowed to have 1 collapsible stroller free of charge, if is necessary for the trip.
NOTE “Any checked baggage weighing over 23 kg and up to 32 kg is considered overweight baggage. Baggage weighing over 32 kg can only be accepted as cargo“
Aegean Airlines Extra baggage and overweight baggage allowance
If you would like to take more luggage with you, in addition of your free Aegean baggage allowance ,the Aegean Extra baggage fees will be added to your booking ticket.
for example: the first piece of baggage if you have a GoLight ticket, the second piece of baggage if you have a Flex ticket or the third piece of baggage if you are traveling Business Class.

Damaged baggage & items
What to do: if your you are certain that your baggage is (broken,torn,or damaged etc) upon your arrival at the destination airport,you need to declare it to the AEGEAN lost and found office,before you leaving the arrivals hall.

- Your Identification Card or Passport
- Your boarding pass
if you are not ascertained about your baggage immediately please contact customer relations within seven days upon your arrival at the destination airport and report your damaged baggage, having the following documents:
- The bag’s payment receipt

Summary
Most international airlines are slightly strict with their luggage allowance.
So it is hard to say that if you show up to the airport with a large carry on bag that exceeds Aegean carry on size will make it on board the airplane.
So ensure that you take a small suitcase and take only what you will need during your trip.
