JetBlue Carry on Policy

With the exception of Blue Basic fares booked on or after 2/25/21 for travel 7/20/21 or later, all fares also include 1 carry-on bag that fits in the overhead bin. Including wheels and handles, carry-on bags must not exceed 22″ L (55.88 cm) x 14″ W (35.56 cm) x 9″ H (22.86 cm).

if you’re booking 2/25/21 or later for travel 7/20/21 or later and prefer to carry on your bags or stow something in the overhead bin, be sure to book a Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra or Mint fare.

Starting 7/20, on domestic flights within the U.S , passengers traveling on a Blue, Blue Extra and Mint fare or who purchase and Even More® Space seat holders are able to carry their carry-on on board, as long as it meets all the requirements.

For other  routes, overhead bin space is first-come, first-served, based on availability. Those in later boarding groups may be required to gate-check their carry-on bags.

Please note that carry-on bags must be stowed properly in the overhead cabin or under the seat in front of you, while your personal item must be placed under the seat in front of you.

If your carry-on bag does not fit in the overhead locker, the bag will be checked at the gate.

Since you won’t have access to baggage that you will check in, make sure that you carry all your travel documents, medication and valuables in your cabin baggage, which will be with you throughout your flight. You should also remember to label your checked baggage with your name and contact information.
