Lanmei Airlines Carry-on Baggage
All Lanmei airline guests are allowed to carry on board the airplane one piece of carry-on luggage which must not exceed the following size and weight:
- 115cm (55cm x 40cm x 20cm) in size
- 7 kg in weight.
If you are traveling without any checked baggage, you may pay a USD 5 (or equivalent currency, i.e. CNY 35/ HKD 40 / MOP 40 / THB 160 / PHP 260/MYR 25) at the check-in counter so you can take up to 11 kg as carry-on, to which a special baggage would be attached.
Please note that At the boarding gate, if it is found your carry-on baggage is more than 7kg and without hand carry baggage tag, each piece will be charged 30 USD (or equivalent currency, i.e. CNY 200 / HKD 250 / MOP 250 / THB 1000 / PHP 1500 / MYR 130) and baggage will be loaded to the cargo compartment.
In addition to the carry-on baggage stated above you are also allowed to bring 1 more small item, which must not exceed 80cm (40cm x 30cm x 10cm) in size, aboard the aircraft. These items include:
- Small handbag
- Laptop bag
- Small backpack
- Camera bag
- Briefcase
Any item exceeding the free carry-on baggage allowance must be checked in.

Lanmei Airlines Checked Baggage
Guests with Economy Class and Premium Economy Class tickets (adult / child) are allowed to bring as free checked baggage a 15kg and 25kg respectively

Lanmei Airlines Excess Baggage
For the excess amount, charging rates are as follows (For the amount less than 1kg would be regarded as 1kg).

How Strict Is Lanmei Airlines Baggage Allowance?
The maximum weight and dimensions of any single piece of checked baggage should not be over 32kg and 158cm (Length + Width + Height) respectively. Overweight and oversize items (exception: mobility aids, sporting equipment, etc.) must be repacked or split into lighter units; otherwise will not be accepted for carriage.
Baggage exceeding free allowance will only be accepted subject to the available space on board on the day of departure.
The number of pieces of checked baggage is unlimited.
Mobility aids, e.g. wheelchairs, baby carriages, etc. necessarily carried by a guest can be accepted without charges as additional baggage allowance.
Infants without occupying seats are not granted any complimentary carry-on or checked baggage allowance.
Baggage allowance could be combined for travelers flying together.

Mishandled Or Missed Baggage
If your baggage didn’t meet you in your destination here is what to do if your luggage doesn’t arrive:
please approach one of Lanmei airlines guest service officers immediately.
You will need to provide your baggage tag, that was given to you at the time of check-in for us to track your baggage through our Baggage Tracing System. Lanmei airlines guest service assistants will update you on the status of the baggage periodically.
Your baggage will be declared missing after a period of 7 days for Domestic travel, and 14 days for International travel, from the date of the PIR. In this situation, you will need to prepare the following documents:
- Copy of guest passport / ID
- Copy of guest bank book / statement
- SWIFT/BCB/IBN code (for international transaction)
- An authorization letter for 3rd party account (if necessary)
- Copy of 3rd party passport / ID (if necessary)
