All Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ guests are allowed the following cabin baggage policy:

How strict is Biman Bangladesh Airlines with carry on size and weight?

Biman Bangladesh are not so strict about the carry-on size and weight However, Each guest is allowed one item of carry-on baggage that should not exceed 20 x 15 x 10 inches (56 x 36 x 23cm) and must weigh no more than 7kg for economy class & 10kg for business class.

Biman Allows a Maximum weight of 32 kgs for each piece; the rule is applicable on all Biman Bangladesh Airlines flights. If your baggage weighs more than 32 kilograms per piece, the baggage must be re-packed.

Biman Bangladesh lost baggage

In case of delay/damage/loss of your checked baggage on arrival at destination, the 1st step is to notify Biman officials on duty &/or to contact the Lost & Found section near the baggage claim area to complete the report form immediately.

Fill up the form called Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with details of baggage i.e. color,size,identifying mark etc. to assist Biman to trace the missing baggage within a reasonable time.

When the missing baggage is not traced within a reasonable time, passengers may raise the claim to Biman along with all required documents for settlement.

Biman’s liability for any lost baggage is up to 20KGs at the rate of USD-20/- per KG.
