Korean air are not so strict on its baggage allowance, however your carry on baggage allowance must adhere to the airline restricritions as follow:
All Korean Airlines Guests are allowed one carry on bag with the following weight and size
- Must not xceed 115 cm/45 ins and which does not weigh more than 12 kg/25 lbs
- First and Business Class passengers are allowed two carry-on bags whose dimensions (length + height + width) do not exceed 115 cm/45 ins and which does not weigh more than 18 kg/40 lbs.
In Addition of your carry on baggage you rae also allowed to carry one personal item free of charge that can be one of the following items:
- laptop, briefcase, handbag
Please note that your carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you

- Business Class guests are entitled to have two pieces of baggage each piece does not weigh more than 32 kg/70 lbs and the sum of the dimensions of each bag does not exceed 62 in/158 cm.
- First Class guests are entitled to have two pieces of baggage each piece does not weigh more than 32 kg/70 lbs and the sum of the dimensions of each bag does not exceed 62 in/158 cm.
Checked Baggage Allowance for routes to/from Asia and Europe:
- Economy Class guests : weight must not not exceed 44 lb/20 kg total
- Business Class guests: weight must not not exceed 66 lb/30 kg total
- First Class guests: weight must not not exceed 88 lb/40 kg total
How many baggage are allowed in Korean Air?
the amount of baggage you are allowed to bring on Korean air flight depends on your destination and class.
However from and to Americas, Korean Air allows Economy passengers to bring 2 checked bags for free (23kg). For all other international routes, 1 checked bag is free for Economy (23kg), 2 for Prestige (32kg) and 3 for First Class (32kg).
