What Is Allowed In Hand Luggage Jetstar?
Carry on baggage for jetstar is as follows:
- Economy Starter, Starter Plus and Starter Max guests: are allowed to carry a main item and a small item, with a combined weight of no more than 7kg.
- Passengers with a Flex bundle, +7kg Extra Carry-On Baggage or Business Class fare: are allowed also to carry a main item and a small item with a combined weight of no more than 14kg.
- No single item can weigh more than 10kg. Limited availability per flight. +7kg Extra Carry-On Baggage is not available for flights to, from or within Vietnam.

Jetstar Excess Baggage
It is always cheaper if you add your luggage when you book online; because if you don’t have a pre booked baggage allowance you may need to add some extra fees (as displayed in the table) in the airport check in desk, and the fee for the first 15 kg of baggage per passenger, then a fee for each additional kilo.
If you have added checked baggage to your booking but arrive with more than your allowance, you’ll also be charged for excess baggage at the per-kilo rate, see below.
If you have connecting flights with a domestic and international leg, you’ll be charged at the international per-kilo rate noted below for the whole journey.

Can I bring my bicycle?
Yes, you can bring your bicycle with Jetstar, but remember that an oversized item fee will apply to any item with a single side longer than one meter including wheels handles and packaging.
The weight of your bike will count towards your total checked baggage weight, so make sure you purchase enough checked baggage.
The oversized item fee is a separate handling fee, paid per item and does not add any extra weight to your checked baggage allowance.
