What Is Carry-On Baggage for Aurigny Airlines?
Aurigny allows 2 pieces of hand luggage with a combined weight of 10 kg:
one piece with maximum dimensions of 55 x 36 x 20 cm to fit in the overhead locker, and the other with maximum dimensions of 35 x 25 x 20 cm to fit underneath the seat in front of you.
Which Items and Accessories Are Accepted in the Cabin?
Aurigny Airlines cares about your safety and the safety of all passengers, so some items may not be allowed in your carry-on baggage, or they may have restricted quantities especially liquids.
All individual containers of liquids must not exceed 100 ml (approximately 3.5 fl oz). Limited quantities of liquids, gels, and pastes may include:
- Shampoo
- Creams
- Hair gel, hair spray
- Suntan lotions
- Toothpaste
- Liquid or aerosol deodorants
- Perfumes
- Cosmetics such as mascara and lip gloss
- Water and other drinks, soups, and syrups
- Other items of similar consistency
What Is Hand Luggage for Infants on Aurigny?
Infants don’t have a baggage allowance with Aurigny, but their accompanying parent or passenger is allowed to carry their luggage on their behalf.
However, infants under 5 years are allowed to carry two of the following items free of charge:
- Collapsible pushchair
- Collapsible travel cot
- Car seat
Where Should I Stow My Hand Luggage?
One piece with dimensions 55 x 36 x 20 cm will be stowed in the overhead cabin, and the second item with dimensions 35 x 25 x 20 cm will be placed underneath the seat in front of you.
If your hand luggage is too large and does not meet Aurigny’s standard cabin baggage allowance, then it will be subject to checked baggage.
Charges will apply if your luggage takes you over your hold luggage allowance.

Aurigny hold baggage allowance depends on your fare type.
The standard Aurigny checked baggage allowance is up to 20 kg, except on the Southampton Alderney / Alderney Southampton route, which has an allowance of 15 kg.

Aurigny Excess Baggage
- All flights between Guernsey and the UK and Grenoble: £10.00 per kg
- All other services: £4 per kg
Excess luggage paid at the airport on the day of travel will be carried subject to availability.
What If You Miss Your Flight with Aurigny?
RESCUE Fare will take care of you if you arrive at the airport no more than two hours after the original departure time, and can be purchased for £65.
It allows you to get onto the next available Aurigny flight, subject to space. Children 17 or under will be transferred for free.
Any other amendments must follow the normal booking-change process.

Aurigny Sports Equipment
Only one piece of sporting equipment will be considered for the sporting goods charge. Additional pieces are subject to excess baggage charges unless pre-purchased.
Sporting equipment and excess baggage will be carried based on payload availability.
You must collect your sports luggage from the destination airport like any other excess baggage.
Bulky and Large Equipment
Bulky items such as surfboards and windsurfers may not be carried if the aircraft is full.
You must check availability with the reservations department.
Pre-Booked Enhanced Baggage Allowance
Passengers may pre-book one additional bag up to 20 kg.
