All AirAsia passengers are allowed to carry with them 2 pieces of baggage on board (except infants) with the following dimensions:
First bag:
- Must not exceed 56cm (H) x 36cm (W) x 23cm (D)
- The bag must fit in the overhead cabin
Second bag:
- Can be a laptop bag, handbag, or other small bag with dimensions 40cm (H) x 30cm (W) x 10cm (D)
- Must fit under the seat in front of you

Does Duty Free Count as Carry-On?
AirAsia duty-free items purchased at the airport will not form part of your cabin baggage allowance, provided they are within the duty-free allowance of your destination country.

All other purchases, including free gifts from duty-free outlets, will count as part of your cabin baggage allowance.

AirAsia allows the items below as checked baggage, and each item must not exceed 32kg.
Sports equipment fees can be paid online at a discounted rate or at the standard rate at airport check-in counters.
