All SAS Airlines (Scandinavian Airlines) Guests are allowed to carry on board one carry on bag and one personal item free of charge, such as a small handbag or laptop item that must fit the following allowance:

  • SAS Go :1 x 8 kg
  • SAS Plus: 1 x 8 kg
  • SAS Plus: 2 x 8 kg (to/from Asia and the US)
  • SAS Business: 2 x 8 kg

What is Carry on weight and size restrictions?

Carry-on items may not weigh more than 8 kg or be larger than 55 x 40 x 23 cm. You may not bring items listed on the prohibited items list. For safety reasons, you are not allowed to bring weapons, stunning devices, sharp objects or containers of more than 100 ml of liquid.

  • Carry-on, maximum weight 8 kg.
  • Maximum size of any piece of carry-on bag: 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm (length x width x depth).
  • Maximum size of any hand bag or laptop: 40 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm (length x width x depth).

Is SAS strict with hand luggage?

SAS is slightly strict about its hand luggage allowance, However you can slightly exceed the allowance given above with few inches.

But if your baggage is overweight or oversized the airline has additional baggage charges set in place, so you can travel with your large luggage. and The airline  will charge you for every kilo you have exceeded the allowed weight.

SAS carry on Liquids restrictions

SAS Airlines baggage allowance allowed its Guests to bring a reasonable amount of liquids within their carry-on bags; such as toothpaste, lotion, mascara, perfume etc .

please make sure that liquids must be packed in individual containers of 100 ml or less; and the total amount of liquids must not exceed 1 liter; All your liquids have to be placed in one clear 1-liter plastic bag.

You can bring enough baby milk and baby food for your flight.
