Summary
It is important to follow Smartwwings luggage allowance and policies to avoid any inconvenience at the airport.
I wouldn’t recommend showing up to the airport with an oversized carry on or personal item bag.
There are probably few passengers that get away with their oversized bags, but in most cases they will get caught and pay for their large bags.
We hope this helps
Happy travels
